A while ago I called Beverly Hills Classic Cars at around 11:30 because I was bored. I believe I asked the man who picked up how things worked around there, and his response was "look are you just calling to give me some **** or ask about a car." I guess I could see all the reasons he was so rude but its just how rude he was that shocked me. I dont think you are allowed to be that rude, no matter the circumstance. I also called FoA, FoLI, FoCF, and FoD. All I got on them was answering machines but I dont think they would have been that rude..

Let's see.... You're 14. You were bored. You called to waste his time. Tell me again how that's not being rude and/or disrespectful to the salesman and of HIS time?

Loving Ferraris is great, man. You should realize, though, that just because you're head-over-heals bonkers about these cars, you shouldn't just call up a dealer on a whim to "ask how things worked down there" and expect to be treated with any sense of respect. You're not buying a car. He knows it, and you know it.

    Give, and you shall receive.

Head over to Crystal Cove or some of the other non-sales events - you can ogle Ferraris till you pass out -- all with no grief or pressure.

Yeah, the sales guy could have been nicer, but frankly I wouldn't have known what to make of your question either. The "way it works" is that if you have a lot of money you can buy an expensive sports car from them.

14 is a great age. Read every car mags you can get your hands on, find some f-chat'ers who will talk for 10 hours straight about their cars, and make sure you ace high school and college so the Ferrari dealers will be expecting you in a few years. ;)

I think bad customer service is the wrong title for this thread since you were not a customer so how could you be serviced as a customer????

Stop whining. Time is money to those guys. I suspect that his answer was entirely appropriate.

Or "Pre-pubescent troll dismissed by Worldy Ferrari Receptionist."

perhaps, "Trashy Teen with too much time tripped by terrific telephone tactics"

or simply, "Gary Green clone clipped."

If you called, and you sounded like a 14 year old PITA, no wonder you got a less than welcome reception.

I walked in and talked to him for some time serious about one car and He is very matter of Fact. He owns the shop and has been arround the cars and people so long that it seems numbing to him. I kind of like the approach he can size you up in a second. JJ
