Bad experiences?

I've had a couple of things over the year...

1. Was at a function in Pittsburgh PA ( when i lived there ) and some jerk threw a brick thru my drivers side window to steal my dates leather jacket... took me a month to get the glass, get it installed aligned etc.. and still years later was pulling glass shards out of the car.

2. My old 308 was stuck in traffic and started to get hot, puking coolant, and some red necks were happy about that ... way to go magnum comments etc....

3. Had a valet tell me "its' just a Ferrari, nothing special" ... I pulled up at 3.02 PM to a restaurant up in Alpharetta Ga, just as it was switching from self parking to all valet... at 3 PM, I got a spot right by the door... so the guy ( who was not there at the moment) says I need your keys. I said "no" ... and the it's just a Ferrari" statement came out... so I said
"yep, and its MY Ferrari and i get to say who drives it, and it aint gonna be you".. went in side and found the manager - who then proceeded to appologize - free drinks etc... I think the place was called "Prime" ... its a mexican place... have not been back since.

 

Agree.

I have had a TON of bad experiences in other cars over the years.

AND the excitement of all of them combined does not equal the thrill of backing the 360 out of the garage.

 

Simlar recent experience when the 308 threw a belt. Clutch failure with the 330 2+2 was memorable.
