    Confused. Italy has elections. I know this because the government usually changes more often than I fill the gas tank in my car.

    Okay I've done some investigations ...
    Still elected, but yes influences the media, etc. ... this happens in America and Australia and so on (otherwise why does the election process cost so many millions?). As far as I know he did not threaten or force people to vote for him, so to me Italy is still a democracy.

    I see you did your homework. Add to Berlusconi the rampant corruption and mafia, but I'm digressing now towards P&R, sorry.

    Definitely. Although Monaco has close tie ins with France, a real democracy.

    So, I, rather cynically, take the message here to be that we (meaning FCHATTERS who care about F1) believe that when the Crown Prince is marched to the guillotine, that Bernie should be dragged along with him?
