Yes, but on tv you see all the dust rooster trails. With the construction in the building, there's concrete dust all over the parking garage floor. My 328 yesterday had virtually zero traction on that garage floor, ... ... so I can definately sympathize with those guys trying to run F1 cars on blowing dust in the desert.
Alonso montoya heidfild fisi Schumi massa button Barachello and two others but ITV are up to there usual crappy standards, had to work out who was in or out myself!
Bad luck hit Kimi once again. It appeared the rear wing, mounted with a single post, fell apart forcing a spin. The right rear tire then "folded" under the car as it spun causing serious damage to the chassis. Kimi did not comeout again in the back-up car. Montoya did continue, setting second fastest time in the second session, Alonso being the fastest. MS I believe was fourth.
Session three and it's MASSA in P1, followed by Rubens, MS, Alonso with < 9 minutes left - this is very interesting - both Hondas in for tire changes. This makes watching live timing VERY interesting since Speed has so darn many commercials and is definitely delayed. Carol Michael just goes P1 - Ferrari 1 2
PLEASE NO INFORMATION IN TITLES! I merged your thread with this one as you were giving Kimi's rear wing failure away.
You can start the race with as much fuel as you started the last session on. --- Any bets whether the engineers will develop a horrendously fuel inefficient setting to burn off half the fuel load in two laps?
Way to go Ferrari .... and Michael equals Senna's pole record!!! FINAL Qualifying resullts are in: P1 MS P2 Massa P3 Button P4 Alonso P5 Montoya P6 Rubens P7 Webber P8 Klein P9 Fisi P10 Heidfeld I am sooooo happy - viva Ferrari Carol
I noticed that too, allthough the track itself looked very slippery. Let's see how the Bridgestone's hold up on multiple laps in comparison to Michelin. The fact that Bridgestone's need more time to reach their optimum temperature, is of less importance with this quali format.
Yeah! we're back in business. I couldn't have asked for a better start to the season. Low fuel loads or not!!!
Way to go MS - he equals Senna's record of 65 poles - another record breaking year ahead for Michael. This is MUCH better watching on live timing than on Speed TV. There's great excitement on the live timing. Carol FERRARI 1 2 (where's Impy??)
