I'm starting to respect Massa more and more. In fact, I'm going to be rooting for him this season! As for the car, I really love the look of the long wheelbase! Is it possible to get that first picture in high-res? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think there has only been one time this pre-season that Kimi has beaten Massa. That's impressive! Kevin S.
Light tanks or not the time is very impressive. It is faster than Schumachers 2004 lap record which alone is nice. But then you need to consider that was with V10's and before the standardized harder construction tires. I love the engineering overcoming regulations year after year.
Greatly appreciated! Thank you! A slight correction to the link: http://img67.imageshack.us/img67/9230/fp1010228121024x768av9at8.jpg
I'm becomming more and more impressed with seeing Massa at the top of the timesheets every day. Granted he's more used to the car than Kimi so maybe the trend will change throughout the season. I don't care either way as long as Ferrari stays this strong the whole season.
yup. Definately not bad for someone who -according to some experts- doesn't even deserve to be in a F1 Ferrari.
i just hope Massa can take his form into the season--races-- and sustain it...kimi should be fine...and very quick...Ferrari should be on top if both drivers drive theirs cars up to potential,..only time will tell...but i'll be cheering regardless...
Thank you for the illustrations of the new aero parts. If I am not mistaken, it would appear that Kimi is still using the old aero on his car as oppose to Massa, who has long been rumored to be running with the newest aero affects, correct?
I don't see much difference in the black aero pieces on the nose, however I do like the downward curve on the upper front wing parts.
I just read an interview with Kimi, in the german magazine PLAYER. They ask him: What can Michael do for the Team? He answered: It will be great, when Michael will drive the new car!!!!!, and we need his know-how in development. I am very surprised about this answer!
+1 It would be nice to see a Ferrari driver not named Schumacher actually exploiting his car's fullest potential for once...
I seem to recall Anthony Davidson routinely appearing at the top of the time sheets during Friday testing and failing to impress when he finally got his shot at a race seat. There is a big difference between looking good in testing, particularly pre-season testing, and performing in race conditions. A very big difference. I am happy that Massa is driving so well in pre-season testing. Hopefully he can find a test driver role when he is replaced.
