I can confirm that JA Baldwin was a Ferrari owner. In the 1960's, my father had the advertising account for Baldwin Filters. Around 1966, Mr. Baldwin asked my father to sell a green Ferrari, which could have been a 275. We got to ride in it, and I recall my father driving it on the newly completed I-25 South of Denver very fast. After the the State Patrol chased him for a bit, he parked it in the garage until it was sold. I think it was around $22,000. How I wish he had the money to buy it for himself! It was a brand he always wanted to own someday.
