    No plans to go longitudinal on my car (but never say never). I like the balance of the mid engine arrangement but I'll combine that with the HP of a 360.

    for me, I am imagining 400-500 is all I will ever need and then some! I just want to learn how to use it and have some fun! AND maybe an adapter plate on the f106 transmission would fit the f131 transverse - remove the variable intake manifold and do some ITB's.... just saying it can be done!

    I think the output is the biggest issue with that plan and why i don't think anyone's done it. It could be sorted but not in a bolt-on wat I don't think.... but i would LOVE to be proven wrong here.

    I was just thinking when I saw the 488 F40ish project......4.8l is the size my V12 started ...hmmmmmmm, bover looked so no idea if it could be done but why stop at 3.6 was the thought :)

    I bet it could work! It will be interesting when both motors are side by side in my living room....
