Banned Users

What's the big deal about waterboarding ("20 mins of Perrier squirted up a Terrorist's nose" - Chris Plante)? Our Special Ops get waterboarded during training.

And, why would anyone post what someone said to get them banned? That's like saying, "G.D. it, you $#(*&! Watch your #*^ing language!"

It makes no sense.

 

I would like to have a banned list, but I'll be honest about it.... I just want to see the slimy white underbelly of F-chat and revel in the misery and suffering of others.

And I would like to know who'se been banned and for what, so I can rub their faces in it when I am flaming them.



Now, we all know that's the reason we want to see the banned list, so why doesn't anyone just say? The reason people slow at an accident scene is because they want to see gore - guts and brains strewn about, right? So why say you just want to see what went wrong so you can be sure to avoid doing it yourself?

 

I got a warning on AF once for posting "Awesome!" I was in violation of the one word rule. Most stupid rule EVER!

Savage - 30 days for extreme trolling
cbw9103 - 1 day for commercial posts
venusone - 3 days for frontal nudity
4rechatfags - permanent ban - do I need to explain this one?

Ed, it's not that big a secret.

If you read the rules, you may find a clue as to why you've been banned a couple times.

I think you also should get a message, sometimes cryptic, (depends on the moderator) when you're banned that shows up when you try to log on.

I seem to recall several PMs or emails that passed back and forth on that one. (I may have you confused with someone else, however.)

I can dig around, but once a guy is un-banned, the messages that appear on screen when banned are wiped from the records.

I can tell you that your argumentativeness, and your unabashed desire to get in the face of anyone and everyone who disagrees with you has contributed to your bans on a couple of occasions. Not every forum here is P&R, and some effort to stay civil is important.

Even right here, rather than simply pose a question, your taking an extremely aggressive approach. Didn't anyone ever teach you to catch flies with sugar?

I don't think I've banned you. (Maybe once in the MAR for picking on some poor soul) but if you've been banned six times, clearly you're not learning from your mistakes.

But seriously, there are people who get it, and people who don't. For those that "don't", the root cause is usually something else.... perhaps being a weenie in real life and turning into a superhero ****** on the board, or perhaps compensating for an inferiority complex, or perhaps just being aggreived at being banned and wanting to 'get back' at those that banned them by pushing the limits and playing coy when asked why they continue to annoy (hey that rhymes!).

There are a few for whom the latter applies, Ed being one of them, IMO.

If you think being argumentative in P&R is a banning offense, than i have a very different view of P&R then you do.Exactly why i don't post in there anymore. Too many cry babies and mods on power trips. Listen, i know it's clubby with the mods and certain members, i just think it's detrimental to the site. as far as my posts here, i think they are right on topic. i think i might have hit a nerve if you think my first post was "aggressive". the op wanted to see who was banned and why- and so do I. And dave, i'm not trying to catch any flies in this thread. There is another substance they are more attracted to anyway.

 

you think someone should be banned because they annoy you? man, i wish i had it like that. But you know what? many people annoy me in P&R and you know what i do? argue my point. Not push the ! button like so many other weenies. To set you straight, i don't push the limits and act coy to get back at anyone. That's just my SOP. Some people don't like it when they hear the truth.

I wasn't suggesting someone ought to be banned because they annoy me. Rather, I was saying that some people know precisely what they are doing, and they do it anyway.

With all due respect, if you really have no idea why you were banned in any of those occasions, and you're not playing coy about it, then I drastically overestimated how sharp you were!

I would have thought all banned members have a good idea as to why they were banned. For me, I've been in quite a few 'debates' but never been close to being banned once. Its usually because I'm on the side that doesnt rabble on and on despite being warned and I dont pick on people or dount them for no reason or at all for that matter. If someone is talking sh33ite then its usually pretty obvious, sometimes not though and thats were some users fall down imo.

Its the same old fact, typing isnt the best way to communicate and if we all met I'm sure it would be different.

On one occasion you suggested a user here had been anally raped by his dad. The message for the ban was ""Political debate doesn't include accusing others of patriarchal sodomy" You got banned for that. Did you need a giant explanation of why that was over the top.

And another time you stalked a user here after being warned by a moderator to lay off. So you got a warning there before you got a three day ban.

Do I need to go on? Nah, that's enough for now.

So, your argument doesn't hold water.

Not to mention robert has been trying without success to get you to see the light.

So, if you want to make **** up, that's ok with me, just make sure that there's no record laying around to refute your BS argument.
