Hey guys, I'm back and brought a TON of pictures from the first corner. As usual I photographed the entire field. So any particular cars/drivers you like to see? Otherwise I'll just default to the Minardis...
    :)

How about Trulli's super pass on MS? Or my personal favourite: The triple car accident...in the Seat supporting race.

C'mon, Andreas, post'em all! I read here you just got a D70. Is that what you used in Spain? And also, please, what lenses did you use?

Can't post 200 pics here. Also don't want to go too far off topic, so the question is somewhat serious. Obviously I'll post the Ferrari and Sauber boys, but who else would you like to see?

Yup, the D70 really rocks. The instant feedback helps a lot to get the "money shot". Plus the thing is fast enough to shoot an entire sequence, like Trulli's pass with locked up brakes past the Schue. I used my regular Nikkor 80-300mm zoom, which on the D70 gives me a 450mm maximum magnification. From my seat that meant the car was actually bigger than the frame.
    :)

Hehe. BTW: Didn't get my VIP Sauber tour, but at least stood in front of their brand new building hosting the wind tunnel.

True. Believe me I tried a few promising venues, but they really don't do tours for anybody. The factory and the tunnel building are fairly small, so if they wanted to show you something, they would have to basically stop their work and hide everything. It is not like e.g. Maranello where you have visitable areas vs the secret areas. It's basically two building.

    Andreas,

I know what you are saying there. I have been trying to use our corp connections to Jag, Toyota, Honda... Etc for pit access to Indy with no luck :( It is a shame that F1 has to be so secret but that is they nature of the game.

I remember the pits in Phx for a Cart race i tried to sneek a peek inside the hole in a Ford engine block only to be tackled to the ground by to Cosworth techs :( Gee i was only trying to sneek a peek at what let go. most of the HP secrets are in the top end Head, Cams Plenium.. Etc

As usual the supporting race was a lot more interesting: Every other lap there was an incident.

The super pass of the race: Trulli outbrakes Schumi into the first turn.

LOL, yeah, that's a good one. Bernie always stresses that he loves Schumi, hmm...
