.... And straight back off to the pits!
Williams' front wing treatment is clever in that they used the adjustment area essentially as an outwash device. Not a bad looking car. I don't think Mercedes are all that worried. Long runs still look very fast but it's so hard to tell what they're doing and how they're testing. Mercedes I think understand possibly better an anyone that the fight will be very cloak and dagger. Only show your hand when absolutely necessary. Ferrari have been showing their hand the past few years, and literally everyone during testing have been pushing their cars and sliding around or locking up here and there, except Mercedes. Zero reports of that stuff from the Luftwaffe. They are taking it very easy on purpose. That said, I truly hope Ferrari take the fight to them.
Merc has ZERO Worries, year in and year out.... Have governing bodies in their pocket, investigating teams which threaten their F1 Superiority Effectively killing further development....
I don't know about that. I thought Fia stood for 'Ferrari International Assistance'. Ferrari still have that age-old veto authority that Enzo insisted on. This is one of the many reasons I remain somewhat indifferent when it comes to Ferrari.
The veto has never been used, and when Enzo demanded it it was for a very good reason, since at the time he was alone against some 20 cosworth teams! If they ever needed to vote rule chneges, the british teams could do whatever they wanted. Still, Ferrari never used it to prevent rule changes.
They're not sliding because they are not pushing... Ferrari looks rock solid also. Immense under braking. Red Bull with a very basic aero package again.
Maybe... just maybe... Toto is already setting up an excuse if Ferrari is actually faster. He's whining about Brexit now claiming its going to give Ferrari and Alfa an advantage. IMO, Mercedes is still sandbagging and we won't see the real Merc until the first race. But IF he is worried, he might need a good excuse on "why".
alot of aero testing today RedBull with different rear wing and front wing setups.....one for power tracks and one for high downforce. Cmon have you WATCHED the last few seasons? Merc have it ALL in the pocket. Ferrari has had NO help in many years.
Very natural with former Ferrari team principle Jean Todz at the head of FIA. I am sure that Todt does everything to prevent the suspicion of favouring his former employee so in doubt the FIA might be most likely more against Ferrari than against Mercedes...add the fact that Mercedes is the most important manufacturer in F1 and you have the current situation.

One cannot argue against that, plus the fact that Ferrari receives around $90M just for entering the championship, regardless of end of season results. Liberty was supposed to remedy to that injustice, but I wouldn't bet on it. .
