Those have to be the safest roll bars on any Ferrari.

The Barchetta roll bars must be 4 inches taller than the 360 Spider or 430 Spider ones.

I'm surprised no after-market vendor has come out with a smaller set of roll bars with a more typical soft top for them.

Not that I'm complaining. I still think the 550 Barchettas are the "best of the best" to have and own.

Hey thanks for the link to the ebay site. The luggage must have come in at least two different colors assuming the ebay luggage is genuine which it sure seems to be. I was curious if any luggage ever sold on ebay for the barchetta. Jon in Delaware

Jon, stunning car. Just 2 quick questions. Did you get points off for not having the "stock" headlights? Also, i assume this was the car Algar had?

    Cheers

Good catch, those are 575 headlights not 550's.

Is it me or the wheels are different too ?

Gorgeous car nonetheless. Barchettas are the most sexy Ferrari since the Daytona Spider.

Andrew, the wheels are reg. 550 Modulars (which I believe are standard on the Barchetta). Our car was next to his and they are the same.

However, we spent a while debating the body differences. Other then the raked/frameless windshield, almost everything from the doors back are different.

We are meeting tomorrow-- maybe I'll take the 550 so we can have some comparative pictures.

I dont know how many points off for the headlight. Won Platinum so at 95 points or better it couldnt be too many. Wheels are standard. Maybe the color makes the wheels look bigger. Small difference in the 550 maranello and the barchetta but diffent none the less. thanks I really like the car. Driving it is a pleasure. the power band and smooth shifting is amazing. The v-12 is a very special feature, jon in Delaware
