What should one expect to pay these days for a low mileage(2ooo miles) Barchetta?
As long as it is not a strange color, you should pay $160K to $170K, depending on various factors (including the motivation of the seller). The azurro blue lingered a bit. Some of the off colors did not sell. The black, red, titanium and silver are OK. Most dark blues are OK. I was offered less than $150K in trade on mine--it is mint, but has 18,000 miles. I am 6'2'' and have no trouble with the low windshield. I use the European driving style where I lean back a little.
Thank you very much for the data points.Out of curiosity what car did you trade for ? How did you like the performance of the Barchetta? I have a 2001 Maranello now and love its' performance...can you compare /contrast the two, or have you ever driven a Maranello.Thank you again! BB
Heres a couple to go by........granted they are "asking" prices. http://www.mgmsl.com/nlisting.cfm?ID=cff31f14%2D542d%2D4f5f%2Dbcdf%2D6bfa4d632534 http://www.mgmsl.com/nlisting.cfm?ID=689e83b4%2D4b14%2D41b7%2D9938%2D7d832e79bb39
I would love to see an example of one selling for 160k-170k. The best low mileage example with current service records I have ever seen is 200k. Please disclose. Trade in values have no value as these cars are hard to sell and the dealers factor in the long selling time in the price offered for a trade. It wouldnt suprise me if it took all summer to sell a car and they are aware of this in their offering price. Jon in Delaware

Have you developed any impressions that you care to share yet? I drove a friends 575SA last month when we swapped cars and experienced the amazing torque. Any regrets on trading the 550BPF?
