    Guys,
We have been doing some spring cleaning here at Karosserie and we just found, hidden in the corner of the shop since 1992, a complete leather bound F40 owners manual. Here are some pictures of the find. The manual belongs to VIN #ZFFMN34A7N0092708 Motor # 30150. If any one knows on the were abouts of the car, please have the owner contact me so we can reunite the car with its manuals!!

    Regards,
    Mike Palilonis

So nice of you to afford 92708 a chance to get its original books back! Incidentally, it appears to be the first 1992 built USA F40 (not a '92 MY car built in late 1991, but an actual January 1992 build car).

Yes it is! I didn't even see this post. I got an e mail from another F40 owner that remembered I told him my VIN # was the ZIP Code to Santa Ana!!

    Very Cool!

I had an aquantance that bought a 71-72 Mach 1 Mustang. He posted an ad looking for the Matching # Engine that belonged in his car. He got a reply. All the guy wanted was the engine he currently had in the Mustang. What a swap! Some car guys just have heart don't they?

Very fortunate, indeed.....aside from the cash value of "the package" there is no replacing the VIN coded Warranty Book once lost......

    Happy Ending.....

WOW, VERY generous move and happy ending! :D

I was sooo close, a dealer found the red master key fob to a yellow 355 GTB and offered it on Fchat to the owner...it was ONE digit off from mine. Sure enough, 2 yellow GTB's were delivered to that dealer with consecutive S/N. oh well :(
