The wallet can't always handle what the heart desires. I think what Chelle is doing is admirable and amazing; Saving a car from being parted out simply because you can't bear to see that happen. For me, that's the mark of a true automotive enthusiast. If I had been in the same position, I would have done the same thing. These cars are very special, historically significant, and rare enough as it is (so let's not make them more rare by eliminating them when they can be saved). It's not going to be cheap, and it's not going to be quick, but in the end it will be 100% worth it.
Hi all, at encouragement of others, I got the chassis number (A334) and also confirmed that someone removed the Dino badge on the nose and filled in the wide, horizontal recess to install a Ferrari emblem. We are now working to be able to turn the motor over by hand. Oil in cylinders, plugs out and we will go a little in each direction over the next few weeks until it turns freely.
