    I was just flipping and caught car search on speed. They reviewed buying a 308.... and missed many if not most of the important points. Then the car search team looked at a GT4...they really liked it because the GT4s are much more rare than the GTB and GTS models and it was a nice bright yellow instead of the much more common red, so those 2 things should make it do really well at auction, probably $26k-$30k...so if they could just buy it for under $18k they should do really well on the resale....it has pretty funny watching hodrodders shop for a ferrari...they just didn't have a clue.

    sorry i missed that - it sounds like a hoot. i've been very unimpressed with those guys.

    one show i watched was when they were looking for a 'cuda. near the end fo the show they leave some guy's shop and they didn't show the whole thing but it looked like one of the four or five guys gets into a yellow Maranello. was i on drugs?

    Doody, the blonde guy mentioned in one show he has about 9 Ferraris - so you are not on drugs :)

    Curious for those who saw the show - what do you think the YellowGT4 was worth?

    I just finished watching the episode you mentioned too.

    They sure didn't seem to impart much knowledge....and the bit with Craig Jackson looking at the 308 was pretty lame. Half an hour or so on F-Chat would do more for a novice buyer than that show did.

    I saw the first episode of this where they introduced everyone. The Hollywood-lookin guy does have a yellow Maranello (ooo that rhymes) and several others as someone else mentioned. Each contestant got a knickname... this guy was "Mr. Ferrari" I think.

    The car sold at the Palm Beach auction for $30K including buyer's commission.

    This car was at one time Black/Black... A much better combo which they should've kept when restoring, than this current awfully bright yellow with gaudy yellow seat inserts, yuk!
