    Yes, a leap of $10,000.00

Saw a blk 360 F1 coupe @ Ferrari of BH service lot and the MSRP was $179,XXX.00

The options on this car is almost identical to my 360 except it has a F1 tranny which is a $10,000 option.

Being the fact that the MSRP of my 360 which I picked up in January is $159,000, this blk 360 should be MSRP at $169,000 if it was being sold in 12/03 ~ 03/04.

I have spoken to James @ Ferrari BH and he confirmed; due to the exchange rate of Euro Vs. US currency, Ferrari has raised the MSRP by $10,000

This should include Modena, Spider & Stradale.

Makes me wonder how much Ferrari is going set the base price of the upcoming 420.....

I think 200K out the door will be a psychological, if not financial, barrier for many of us non-independently-wealthy types.

I'm sure Ferrari could easily sell one or two years worth of production despite a significant price increase. After that, though, I think the high price and competition will start affecting sales, unless the economy really picks up.

For once, I think I bought at the right time!

I hope you're putting 40K worth of "extra" miles on it! Clearly, you're not one of us low-brow 200K barrier types!

    Which options did you get?

    It's a beautiful titanium/black 6-speed. Typical options (I'll update my profile).

Nice to run into another die-hard 6-speed fan -- it looks like there aren't many of us left!

Well you know what my dealer told me yesterday?

    I started the 6-speed trend. :)

Right after I put up the word for a 6-speed back in 12/04, now EVERY BUYER in LA wants a 6-speed.

Boy, do I feel flattered. :D

Jimmy540i.com, can you clarify, did you pay $40K over sticker for your 2004 360 Modena?

6 spd, jimmy, is the ONLY way;) you do realize that the F1 trannies still arent even perfected, even if you DID like the notion....just buy 4-5 clutches up front, so they are ready to correspond with each oil change for the first 15k miles! haha.

I thought that currently the Modena's and CS's are $20-30K over sticker and the Spider $40-50K... At this rate the first 420's will probably go at $150K over sticker, i.e. $350K or so... crazy!

So did you get a slot and choose all your colors (which are awsome by the way) for your $40K over? Or was the car just there at the dealership with the price tag attaced?

No price increase on the Stradale -- it already started out high enough! :)

When I was at the Detroit Autoshow this year, in the Ferrari area, I inquired whether Ferrari was going to stop producing the manual transmission in the future and was told by someone from FNA that was NOT going to happen!! We still must stick together!

That's how much money you have to spend if you by the car from a reseller and not a dealer; i.e., you didn't spec it out, you took what was available.

    Its a used car folks.

I paid sticker for my 04 that should be here next month and it is about $184K. Fully loaded coupe F1..only missing challenge rear grill. The same car sold for about $170K last year because Ferrari also rasied the price of all the options by about 20%. I can believe I paid almost $1000 so my calipers can be painted red...that is a joke imo. Jimmy in reality you didnt over pay too much since the same car would be about $15K more right now. The dollar came back against the euro but I highly doubt that F will ever reduce the prices, once it goes up it stays up. I am kicking myself because I didnt pay the exta $4K to have the car flown in from Italy..now i have to wait 6 extra weeks.
