I am looking for a source of information regarding a basic Auto Mechanic's course, suitable for working on pre-computerized engines - like real Ferraris used to have.

I have tried Google and the search turns up everything but a simple direct source of information online or even a directory of schools that might teach auto mechanics.

    Any ideas anyone?

Check with local community colleges and trade schools in your area. Many have night schools and are relatively inexpensive

Find an older guy or shop that will let you hang around . Watch and ask questions . Also look at older books and magazines. Take old stuff apart and reassemble ,dont be afraid to dig into things. Most importantly stick your head under the hood.
