We have reproduced the batchboard for the Dino 206 or 246 L. Last one on the planet! Made with fine orange thread to replicate that factory look, yet possibly not a perfect shade of orange, but very difficult to compare to anything else, so I can live with it. Besides, here they only have one shade of orange...back to basics. Hinge, hand rolled and made in alloy, with rivets applied in a "typical", not very symmetrical manner. Hinge pin, in stainless steel. Hatch cover, same alloy, shaped to the contour of the opening with a lower slot for the windshield washer bag hose. Molded from an original that was all broken up, missing sections, so remade fairly rustic with imperfections in the visible outer layer of the part, and in the other details to replicate that special "factory quality look" and the devil-may-care attitude. There exists the possibility to pop a few bubbles or a lot and sloppy paint it, for that special flavor. I am really pleased with the outcome as there are no originals, or loaners, to be found anywhere.
