Have 2005 F430...ran great but after about 5 min...idled below 1000RPM...then stalled when stopped and put into first...started it...put in reverse...it stalled

It even stalled in auto mode

    limped back to garage
Next stay battery was so low...would not start

Got new battery...now car starts and ****s fine! That happen to anyone else? Should I have mechanic check it out or was battery cause of sudden problems shifting and idling?

The proper operation of the multiple sensors in the car does depend on a reliable power supply. A poor battery does not absorb the alternator ripple. Once the battery stops filtering the ripple, all these sensors are fed with "dirty" current and they start to send false errors to the ECU.
