Battery change Image Unavailable, Please Login My car battery is drained and needs replacement . The car won’t start and it’s in a low clearance underground parking garage. It can’t be towed to the dealer or AAA. Since we can’t jump start a Ferrari how can I replace the battery? Where can I get information on what’s the best battery to replace it with. I found a repair guide online but no video online. Apparently isn’t not a quick swap.

Each time the battery is disconnected from the electrical system all the acquisition parameters are cancelled from the injection ECU. There parameters must be reacquainted before using the vehicle. What does that even mean ?

Pretty sure there's this sort of information already in the California section

If possible, call the nearest Ferrari dealership. You need to know the correct battery for your car, and the correct way to install it so that the car doesn't lose necessary data. There are posts in the California thread regarding this, as greyboxer has already mentioned. Good luck!

How's the car, Marcus? Were you able to get a new battery?

I ended up putting the charger on in the middle of the night. I live in a condo that doesn’t allow using the garage outlets. It charged for 6 hrs and car started thankfully. Calling the dealer today for the best battery option.

I called the dealer and they charge $1150 to change the battery. They use Odyesey.

Hi, are you driving the car at least 2 times a week ? If you don't, you must find a way to use a trickle charger or this problem will happen again.
