Theres a cable behind the driver seat for charging the battery. Excuse the dumb question, but is this stock? Ive seen mention of it before, so Im guessing it is? but never been able to confirm for sure. Mine recently stopped charging, I get no readings on the multimeter anymore...so if it is stock, does it have a fuse somewhere?

Ross- What model and what year? Insufficient information to answer your question, since there were different types of OEM chargers depending on MY. Filling out your profile would help.

Yes that is the male end of the CTEK Pigtail (the + connection is not shielded) that you plug your tender into. I purchased one for my car because the previous owner had installed a standard SAE male connector (where the + connection is shielded) to the terminals behind the driver seat.
I posted that so the OP could see if he has an SAE connector so he could chose an appropriate tender and connection.

My 01' 360 spider has a cable there as well. The looks to be a battery tender type. My tender works great hooked up to it. I had always assumed it was installed by a previous owner.

It should have a fuse near the other end of it. You will need to remove a couple of screws ~5 to get the carpeted cover behind the seat out of the way to see it. My favorite chargers are Granite Digital "Save a Battery" and they use the same connector too.

yeah youre right. I posted in haste. its a 2002 spider. Ill include a picture. Car sat for a month, but with a tender plugged in. When I went to start it over the weekend, the battery wasn't completely dead, but not enough juice to start the engine. And like I said when I checked with a meter I wasn't getting anything. I will try what Kevin suggests though and go from there. Thanks a bunch guys!
