i was hoping to get some personal feedback from owners in regards to leaving a battery on a tender unattended for several months.
my situation is that i usually leave my 360 spider in storage for 4 months and i have in the past removed the battery completly from the car and hooked up the tender. i have never had a problem with this process other than being a bit of a pain. i do this just because i do not have the ability to check on the car and make sure everything is OK.
so to try and minimize the work to charge the battery i would want to install the tender pigtails and then just connect tender without having to remove battery.
i just am a bit uneasy about not being around to check car/battery.(an eletrical issue, whatever)
so do any of you out there attach tender for long peroids of time without being able to check on the car and once you return do you have confidence / success.
any opinion / input would be great.
    thanks

There is a good post on this subject a few threads below yours.

If you want to install a pigtail go to page 5, look under the thread "Battery Tender" name is Marky1, look to the last post #12. i walk throught the way to install what you seek for a F430. I think the 360 is the same i had one for many years and always trickle chrged for months.

Just be sure of you buy a good step down charger. I use Battery Tender on all or most of my cars. They are good and most importantly run cool. I am sure there are other good brands

    Good luck.
