Please excuse my naivety, but i'm currently trying to charge my Ferrari F12. While the manual says remove the socket (Do I just remove the socket by force? I don't want to break anything) Or do I remove the whole lid?

    Thanks!

    Best.

If you mean the socket and associated plug for the charger in the boot of the car, the F12 has a bespoke Ferrari fitment and the plug should have a small clip on the top that your depress to release it from the socket and it should pull out of the socket easily. The socket in mine has been moved due to some modifications to the audio system, but I believe that socket in the boot either has a small spring loaded cover or a push tight one that you open to fit the plug.

It’s been a long time for me with the F12 but I think the connector you need to reach is just behind that panel, which is removable. It should be on clips / not too difficult to remove

Not sure about that - mine doesn't have a cover as it has been re-fitted - you could try prying the cover off with a flat bladed screw driver of something?

Yes yes! I removed the whole damn panel because the plug was stuck. So much easier! Thanks!

Decided to remove the panel altogether. Thanks for the help brother!
