    So the handle is missing from my battery cutoff switch

    When I turn the torx screw it pops out but has no effect on the battery.

    I assume the whole housing has to turn?

    Does anyone have any idea where I could get a new handle? I looked around on eBay and the Internet and can't find one, just the whole switch.

    You can clean it up and just use a torx bit like the later years have (they removed the handle ..at least on the scuderia)

    Thank you. When I use the torx bit, the screw head pops out but nothing happens, ie battery is still working, am I doing it wrong?

    I notice there are notches in the surrounding housing, looks like maybe the entire black shaft should turn?

    The middle piece is only supposed to turn and pop.. i can't remember which is off in or out ..

    Well it's been in since I got the car, so I assume this is battery on. I turned the middle screw, it pops out, but no change in battery status

    Maybe mine's not working or disconnected. I expect my battery has been replaced, maybe it wasn't hooked back up properly.

    So when your screw pops out, no power?

    I would look into the switch and if someone directly wired something from the battery that is now back feeding when master switch is off ..

    A standard T40 torx wrench fits
    Get a look behind the switch to see if the switch assembly needs tightening up, in case it is moving
