I just took delivery of my 612. It has had the original Ferrari trickle charger (big, leather case, 3 pin plug) replaced by the Ferrari dealer with the new Ferrari trickle charger (CTEK). When installed they went right to the battery with the leads. It still has the plug at the exact same location.

I wanted to see what the thought on using the main battery cutoff also, thus reducing the constant draw on the battery and allowing even less trickle charge to be needed.

I have the radio code so unlocking the radio isn't a negative when disconnecting the battery.

    Thanks

Much ado about nothing. I wouldn't worry about it. Put it on the trickle charger, drive it, and have fun.
