    Hi all, does anbody know, where the key to disconnect the battery in the trunk on the right hand side is? In the manual it shows as "part C " a lever, that can be connected with the octagonal ending of the interruptor, but i could not retrieve the lever...

    From 2006 onwards, the 599 was fitted with an item without the lever, if you remove the small black rubber cover, get your flathead screwdriver from the toolkit and use that, it is a torx bit you really nees
    D, but this works fine. Damn ferrari never changed the literature, I found out the hard way,

    They also do not recommend disconnecting the battery anymore, due to CAN line.

    No problem atall, and Diablo, yes, this is what I was told also, I did not mention it because I couldn't remember the can line bit, however, I was told by the dealer it is never an issus, just Ferrari being Ferrari.
