Just looking for some good advise on the proper procedure when using the battery disconnect in the front compartment of my 360.

I had to shut off the power due to a hazard button malfunction. after a few days, I turned the battery back on and problem went away. Now, I want to be sure that I properly start the sequence in some fashion as to not damage any computer/electrical systems.

The only thing I saw in the manual was to put key in position II for 10 to 15 seconds before fire up?????
is there something else I should be looking into?? it seems easy enough to follow these very simple instructions, but I was doing some research on battery problems and saw a plethora of service issues that came from incorrect startup after replacing batteries etc.

Thanks in advance for any help.

If I understand you correctly you shut of the battery in the front storage area buy turning off the switch.

My dealer told me after you turn the battery back on wait before staring like you said, then start. You will have to recode the radio.

    Good luck

Lee, thanks for the heads up. Yes, you have the scenario correct. Is the key supposed to be in position II for that 15 seconds? Or does it matter??

Just wait until you the the "Check ok" message from the car before starting. Should take 15 seconds or less. It's no big deal.
