I don't own a 430, but your owner's manual will probably tell you. If you don't have it, post the question in the 360/430 forum, or see if you can find an online copy of the manual.

Not sure on the 430 but the 360 is jumped from behind the drivers seat. NOTE on the 360 the instrument panel is very susceptible to surges and it is easy to blow the instrument cluster. Be sure to check your manual and follow the procedure.

Only words of wisdom are BatteryTender. Do a search and you will find a bunch of discussion on trickle chargers.

If this applies to the 430 as well, the only thing about jumping procedure I would add is do this w.the source vehicle not running, and rather than going directly terminal to terminal ground the F's negative and go + term to + term. If that's enough juice then go term to term, and if still not enough, then start the source vehicle.

I have the same issue...my battery died on the 2007 F430, and I put the battery conditioner on it...Any idea how long it takes to charge that way.....Also, lights and radio works...but car still does not want to turn over..(I really suspect battery)...
