Out one evening, and drove home - in the less than comforting glow of a battery light. Is it battery - probably not, I changed that in December. Is it the alternator? Really hope not, does anyone know how to inspect this?

Any automotive garage will have a tester to hook up, checks the output voltage and current. Lots of threads on 355 charging issues, sometimes simple, sometimes not. Do you know of a reputable import garage near you?

I had my light come on everytime the rpm hit 4250. Turned out my alternator needed to be rebuilt. I think it was $300.00 for the rebuild no problem since...:D

Thanks, I checked the output with with a voltage meter this morning. All OK
Next, off came the right wheel and checked the battery and connections.
    Put it all together.

No warning lights - So assume all is fine for the moment

Don't assume. Last time I ignored my flickering battery light, soon thereafter my car stopped on the main road because the alternator crapped out. The car died.

Have the alternator load tested and checked. ASAP
