Many people (myself included) have had good luck with these....

You can find them at various prices all over the internet. They are good as well as small and will not overcharge your battery.

Yep, battery tender does the trick. The car always starts right up.

I have never even removed my Ferrari tender from the leather kit bag. Does that thing work OK? I seem to remember mixed opinions.

    James,
There is a two bank unit sold by Deltran, but you pay a premium for it, since it is a licensed Harley Davidson product.

I would just buy two anyway....as stringing the cords can be a hassle if they have to come from a single point.
If you type in "battery tender" in the upper left corner of the page you will find a number of threads on them. You can also try "battery maintainer", "battery charger" and "trickle charger" for similar threads.

There are many brands and they all pretty much work and do the same thing. If your cigarette lighter is powered with the ignition off, that is the easiest way to plug it in.

thanks! ordered a 2-banker (non-HD) today. Have an old 1-bank; it's now working fine too.

Found this company on ebay and realized they are selling the same charger as in Ferrari's dealer. Bought the charger and the cigarrete lighter adapter for about $85, almost 50% less than Ferrari dealer. Received the items in 2 days. Works perfectly. http://motors.search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZwoodyscustomshop
