    is it possible to use a porsche battery maintainer that plugs into the cigarette lighter on a ferrari f355 or 360??? its a left over part i had that is still brand new and i didnt see the point in buying another one to do the same thing.

    I seriously doubt that Porsche made both the battery maintainer as well as the battery (even though they may have had stickers that said so), so go ahead and use it with whatever other vehicle you may have !!

    That depends on whether the software in it was written by Microsloth, and won't accept "aftermarket" vehicles. ;)

    What's the difference between 12 Ferrari Volts and 12 Porsche Volts? :p

    (12 Fiat Volts was about 9v at the headlight bulbs, on my 124. :D)

    Seriously, as long as it wasn't made for an old postive ground or other oddball machine. (Weren't some older V-dubs positive grounds, for a while, before they switched to the standard neg-ground system?)

    Porsche Volts are much more reliable, and probably better for everyday use. But there's just something passionate about Ferrari Volts that can't be described. Probably due to their heritage. Anybody remember the old Voltage races of the 1950's? Man, the just don't make Volts like the used to.
