A Battery Tender quick connector was installed by the previous owner. Should I turn the Battery Disconnecting Switch (in the luggage compartment) to OFF position or leaving it at ON position while hooking up to Battery Tender for charging?

Thanks for advising a newbie here.

Edit: Sorry forgot to mention it's for a 355.

    Leave it on...........

If you connect the battery tender to the cig lighter or terminal pts. in the engine bay then the tender will not be connected to the battery if you turn it off.

If it is connected directly to the battery there is no reason to turn it off as that is one of the best reasons to have a tender.

    Thank you Mr. LetsJet.
I believe mine is attached to the battery directly as the connector was found in the luggage compartment by the disconnect switch...and I'll leave the swith "on" as suggested.
