Is the first battery tender as expensive as it looks?

The second you probably get paid to use

As always, it all boils down to haves and havenots. If you 'have' you get the cute chick. If you 'have not', well you get the message. Just noticed that the 'havenot gal' do have an F on her supergirl outfit. Wonder what it stands for? Maybe Ferrari? Perhaps we could hire her as a bunn flattener at Gregs barbique deal in October. Or PRESS her into service at Monterey next August.

    Please help

I'm specing out a new battery tender for early spring delivery and wondering what is the best color/options.

I getting it at MSRP, but would be interested in flipping it if the premium is big enough.

The whole corsa/nero thing has totally played out. I suggest fuchia for negative and lime for positive, with contrasting stitching.

If you have the "energy" to do that, what would you "charge" at that point?

I'll bet people turn and look when that beast is running.

If you have any more pics it would be fun to see how they did it.

Wonder how thry get the turns to the wheels? Has to be an Allison tranny or something like that. The torque would be almost too much to handle. Roll that buggy right on over. Has to be at least a 2k or 2.5k lashup. More than likely are using a TR 5 speed, as they are built to last.

Why do you think it has a roll cage? It protects his noggin when hits the throttle.

As a pure physics problem though you have to put a torque load on it for much of a torque reaction and those two little wimpy tires ain't gonna do it.

What would that thing have for torque? 2000lbs? 3000lbs?

Saw an Allison powered unit at the tractor pulls once. All these multi engine blown fuel things working hard and blowing up at who knows what price and the guy pulls up in his Allison just idling happily without any carrying on and he rolls on a little throttle and pulls the load all the way. Guy goes a whole season and doesn't even need to change plugs.

Pretty cool, I've always thought you could make an interesting car with one. Pretty heavy piece though. I wonder what kind of bodywork they had planned.

Seems Jay Leno has a Rolls with an aircraft engine. I saw it on "My Classic Car". I don't remember seeing the engine. Not to be confused with the "Tank Car" with the air-cooled 12 banger from the Patton tank.

There was a Mustang crash at an airshow near here (Don Hinz). I heard from one of the crew that there was a known oil pressure problem with the Merlin that unfortunately appeared as he made a low level pass . He put it into someones backyard.

    No timing belts.

I dont know if it is the one Jay has but the original car built by Rolls had one without the blower. Quite a bit shorter that way. I don't suppose with 1650 inches in a car you really need a blower anyway, unless maybe if you were pulling trailers in the mountains.
