    Interesting how the brand "Battery Tender" has made it to generic "Kleenex" status. And it's true, most any battery maintainer will work. Saw some at Sears.

    any specific suggestions? i mean the price at sears range from 30-80 dollars...and would 80amps be sufficient or should i go with 125. thanks,

    I use a Porsche battery maintainer...plugs right in to the cigaratte adaptor of my Gallardo...

    I have a number of maintainers for my cars from JC Whitney. They're listed in their motorcycle catalouge and cost about $20.

    I've used them for years and yes, they do cycle.
