458 battery went flat on day 7. Battery tender was locked in luggage compartment. Had to undo upholstery to get to release cable. Battery charged over 24 hrs but windows didn’t work. Disconnected negative on battery for 10 min. Followed manual page 210 as to what to do. Everything works fine now. Lesson learnt keep tender in car. If not driving car by day 3 plug in tender. If your 458 is parked in a secured location, then you can consider not to lock the vehicle to save battery power significantly.

What do you mean Steve, a secured location does not give your battery power ... you need a battery tender Always imo ?
