    Many, Many Thanks to Newman for the inspiration and to Adam at billleboeufjewelers.com for taking the ring project to completion! The ring is in 18K gold and is truly beautiful! Even when my car is in storage for the Winter, she'll remain close to me...on my finger.

    I'll try to attach some photos sent from Adam, but if that fails...I'll take some pix and attach them later.

    It is soooo great to be behind the wheel of the Boxer once again...especially with her new "shoes" as I posted in a another thread....Dr. John

    Sorry...I may be a Doktah, but I'm still "computer challenged" and can't seem to upload a zip file of the photos. I'll try to post at least one pic tomorrow. ;(

    congrats on the tire upgrade and bling, Doc!

    this is not a (direct, lol) knock on BFG's, but even the worst modern rubber is miles ahead of the TRX's. I think the other improvement in addition to performance and feel is how much more quiet the modern tire is.

    To be fair, any tire past 6 years or so is just not up to snuff, TRXs included.

    Now, let's see those pics! :)

    Yes...The TRXs were terrible tires, especially on the one occasion that I drove the car in about 2-3" of snow in VT. Not sure what I was thinking??? I'm going to try to take some pix of the ring and upload tonight...John
