    I watched the race on the Beeb but missed the beginning - so thanks for this!

    Monza's always tinged with sadness for me as it's my marker for the end of summer and the ending of the F1 race calendar (though there are a few more to go these days).

    I was in London last week and the IHT had a great picture of Wolfgang Von Trips just as the race was about to start. he was sitting in his Ferrari, and who would know that he would be dead in the next 15 minutes, along with I think 12 spectators. It was a haunting photo and there was a great story of the 1961 race accompanying.
