black is very impressive on a boxer ...but yellow is unique. and you seem to have an affinity to yellow.

again...black is super sexy on the box!

    merry x-mas.

Best of luck to find a black or yellow Boxer.

There is one at rpmvt.com that is being painted now. If you commit to buying it you could get whatever color you want.
It is being painted blue last I heard by the shop.

The "car for sale" section shows the car in tired black paint.

Just be patient... What you are looking for is out there, it just may take some time to secure the right car.

A Boxer is a lot different from the V8s......

Study the examples on the market for awhile you'll learn the 65K vs. 120K values...

IMO the $150K was a mulligan....

a beater 'i' is the low value, a nice carbed car the 125K. IMO
Early 365 Boxers are 150K + with BBLM way past that!

    YMMV.......;)

I think 115 for a nice one, 150 is platinum. canepa sold a 1000 mile car for 175, msddesign sold his for 150. I think autosport just sold theirs for around 115?

I found a yellow 79 bb in Canada last summer. hey wanted 79k canadian $
No records no major & had new paint.

I called FoA they said 10k+ to svc. It look great on the outside, but no records ect... I decided to skip + I'm wanting a BBI

so are the bb cars worth more than the bbi cars?

    thanks, Mark

The days of the 59K Boxer are gone. Woulda shoulda coulda.

The yellow one for last summer was the one painted at Ledgendary Motor Cars ("Dream Car Garage" shop) wasn't it?

I know of two BBi's in the 80-90 range available I found during my search. They were available in January if you're interested PM me. And a very nice example for about mid 90s.

The one at legendary is a major turd. I had the pleasure of going over it there this past summer. The paint job is very nice but the chipped up nose badge, dull park lamps, worn out metric tires with injected rims and an engine that hasnt run in 10 years make it a $50K car tops, probably in the $40s really but they wanted $109K cdn for it, lol, stay away from that one.

While I would go with red, silver or blue with a Boxer...between your two color choices I would go with yellow. A black Boxer would be even harder to stay cool in with the marginal a/c and almost flat windshield...
