    After doing the leak-down test on my Boxer, I noted that cylinders # 5 and 9 are showing significant leakage. This was done with the engine out of the car, hence, cold. Instructions call for a warm engine. I would like to think that it really didn't matter, whether cold or warm.........possibly less leakage when warm, but the above two where WAY off.

    Well, the heads are off.......rather easy. I would like to have a valve job done. Does anyone know a good machine shop in the Chicago area?
