    I am hoping someone may be able to shed some light on this. I have always been into models as a kid so at age 38 I decided what a great hobby to get back into. I picked up a large box of older models and in there were two BBR kits. I know nothing about these.
    I have a

    Project 20
    Ferrari F310B
    G.P. Monaco 1997
    PR07 winner

    Project 24
    Mercedes CLK GTR-GT
    GT Fia 1997 - ladies
    PT03 CLK Sportswear

    Both of these are still in the boxes and have to be put together. Also each one has paperwork with it signed by Reali Fermando. These are not copies. Top of paper says New Product Information For Finescale Modeler

    Can anyone tell me the value of these and should I put together or just keep in box?

    BBR is the italian leader in resin model building
    these 1/20 models are older than 10 years and getting rar
    If you put it together it should be done from a professional
    the same model was sold as factory built in a limited edition from 50 pieces
    worth for the kit : between 100 and 150 Dollar

    Thank you for the info. I just listed on eBay hoping to get someone that knows something about it. That is why I have a ridiculous number on there.
    I will look for a professional to put this together for me

    BBR may be decent builders but there larger scale kits completely sucked. To begin with those 1/20th F1 kits were almost always broken in the rear section because they would jam them into a box too small for the model. Then there is the problem with quality and missing parts that can never seem to be replaced by BBR because of there terrible customer service.

    Now if the models ARE complete and perfect, that would make them pretty rare. I don't think I ever seen one that was. But both are still pretty undesirable. I would expect the F1 to go for around $100, maybe. The Mercedes might get a little more but since its essentially the same as the Tamiya plastic kit I would not be suprised if it goes for less.
    Ebay is the best to get top dollar for them.

    Sounds like someone had some bad eperience with BBR!!
    Your the 1st out of many that say they are terrible. You need to look at mine because it will be your 1st BBR that you have seen complete and are flawless. They cost 69.00 back in 1997 or 99 according to the paperwork so for 100 or even 400 I will keep them and have them built. I like having one of only 50 and untouched.. Personally the lines are beautiful on both and far superior to any plastic kit..just my thoughts but thanks for sharing

    I built the BBR 1/20 310B low nose back when the kits were new. One of the best engineered resin kits I have built to date. They go on sale on ebay quite often and don't sell for all that much, I don't think the price on them will ever rise to an expensive collector level.
