Well I took the plunge again and have ended up with my 2nd Scuderia. As with my first one 2 years ago, I bought a set of BBS FI rims or it from Eric Nareshni from Supreme Power (he was extremely helpful).

Today I send my car into the local Ferrari Dealer (the only one) in Singapore for wheel alignment only to be told that the ENTIRE Warranty on my car is now null and void because I changed the original Scud 19" rims for BBS 19" rims!!

How can this be right? Sure if you want to void the warranty on the wheels and associated bearings and stuff, but not the ENTIRE car?

What's more, they won't let me purchase a "Power Normal" warranty for the Scud once the current Power Cube is up in August. Is this total BS or has this happened to the rest of you in the US or Europe?

Also is it worth paying for the warranty on the scud? Seems like a pretty reliable car to me do far.

Would appreciate your feedback / comments on this as I intend to fight Ferrari on this issue. What's stupid is I have never had this issue on any of the other exotics I have owned from McLaren, Porsche etc.

Ferrari in Asia suck big time!

Many thanks, a very sad Scud Owner :(

    Is this Ital Auto?

If so, then fyi if you didn't buy the car from them e.g. imported it into sq yourself, they won't touch your car be it stock or modified.

Here in the States, that would most definitely Not void any part of the warranty other than your original wheels of which are not on your car. Thats total BS and look for another dealer if you can fond one within a reasonable distance.

My first step would be to carefully read the language of the warranty that came with the car, to see if the dealer's claim is even close to compliant with that text.

The really stupid part of all of this is that Ferrari uses BBS wheels on many of their cars straight from the factory itself!! 599 GTO comes with this very same wheel!!
