fair, good, great, or excellent on this
    particular model ?

    Thanks for everyones input . . .

I would say it is acceptable given the price. It is by no means a high quality model. IMO, of course

IMO to be fair you have to put it level with the Mattel model. However I like it better for few reasons. The body and interior are better and so are the wheels. Also the Mattel model sits kind of high on its wheels.
This said, the BBurago has a few shortcomings which are the reason I am not ranking it higher than the Mattel. The tires may be correct in size (they are not on the Mattel) but they are the generic molding Bburago uses and have markings on the sidewalls that say BBurago. The only other thing is the "gap" between the intake plenum and the throttle bodies.
However if you are willing to spend some time improving either model, I would definitely go with the BBurago as it is way easier to work with and the end result with it would be better.

The markings on the tires sidewalls on my Bburago says "Pirelli P ZERO"!!! The body is much better looking on the Bburago compared to the Mattel, but on the Mattel you'll find that the disc brake calipers are molded directly on to the discs, which does not turn with the wheels at all! On the Bburago there is no calipers at all, but the discs turns with the wheels.....so I guess it's a matter of which details you prefer! The wheels and steering on the Mattel is beyond poor, and not so for the Bburago.......all in all I would go with the Bburago!!!
