Apparently Bburago has picked up where Hotwheels left off in regards to 1:18 F1 Ferraris… So has anyone purchased either the Vettel or Raikkonen’s SF15-T cars? The question that I want to know, is the overall detail, accuracy and quality of their F1 Ferraris good? I mean is it Hotwheel’s standards???

I have Vettel's SF-15T by Bburago and Alonso's HW F14T. To be honest theres not much in it, Bburago did an excellent job but it's just not as refined as the HW.

The overall stance is good with a nice rake and it doesnt look out of place amongst the HW. A few stickers let it down though and the DRS hook doesn't connect to the wing. Also where the front wishbones join the body they've placed a sticker instead of just painting it as HW do.

For the price though it's great was really surprised for it being under 50€. You would not think this is a Bburago diecast.

There are several mishaps on the model such as the absent wing behind the camera on the back and the missing antenna's on the nose, the absent of the HANS system, and a wrong steeringwheel.....BUT overall, this kind of mishaps were also with Hotwheels models, and the shape of the model is i.m.o. very good, the wings are straight on the model (at Hotwheels sometimes VERY bad), the striping on the bargeboards is a little off but easily fixed with some paint. Price-Quality is imo VERY good for such a model.

I have to agree with you . The detail could be a lot better
But for the price it's still a half decent model.
