haha...Thanks guys. Folks in my local car group were saying the same, lol. This is happening at a good time. Unexpected, yes...But, a great thing. We're both excited. Haven't told any of the parents yet. That figurine in the first post is waht they are getting along with their other things on Mother's Day.
Yeah, thanks for telling me now that you hadn't told your folks yet! I mentioned it to your folks during our weekly phone call, and man, were they upset to hear it from somebody who found out about it on the 'net before they did! Congrats!
Well, just told the family about it today with their gifts. Mother in Law called happy and in tears, then gave us a hard time because it messed up her makeup for church, lol. My Mother loved it as well as sees it as it's been a long time coming since my wife and I have been together for 10 years, married for three of those. Dad and Step-Mother were thrilled too. Been a good day, unfortunately though, I had to come to work. Y'all enjoy the rest of your Mother's Day and treat them well!!!
Thanks! I'll let you know ASAP, but that of course is a bit down the road. Keep pissin' off my wife saying it's going to be octoplets(sp? lol)....All I can honestly hope for though of course is a healthy baby.....
Wife had the Doctor's appointment today. She's 2 months and 5 days along. "Noodles," lol, is 2cm. She has a projected due date of December 19th.
Reviving a thread, sorry....7 weeks to go. Due December 19th, Michael Thomas Mandry will soon be amongst us. Moving into a new place a month before he's due. I have the nursery planned out. Can't wait to get the painting started.
Thanks folks! The nursery will be officially underway Nov 17th(move in day for new place). I'm going to attempt to airbrush Lightning McQueen and the Schumacher 430 on the wall with all my autographed automotive memorabilia I've been collecting for Michael hanging on the wall adjacent. I'll get pics up as I make progress. Of the wall decor, there will be/are signed pistons from Carol Shelby, Jack Roush, Roger Bourget, Paul Yaffe, Jesse James(even if I have to fly out to his shop for a day to get one signed. he only does autographs in person), Jim Davis(Garfield), John Force, and Dennis Anderson to name a few. I am honestly getting excited as the time comes closer. Been with my wife since high school(10.5 years, married for 3.5). Can't wait. Thanks for the well wishes, we'll keep y'all in the loop!
Just stopping in to the extended car family to give you an update. Dana will be delivering little Michael Thomas Mandry tomorrow morning (Thursday December 6th) at Methodist Hospital (off Floyd Curl and Medical Drive). She is being induced at 5am so we will keep everyone posted on things as they progress. For those who know us, feel free to give us a call or stop by and see us at the hospital if you want.
