Time for a mini driving suit
I'm already looking for the Sparco Racing baby seats, lol. Michael Thomas Mandry was born at 701pm yesterday. 7LBS 10 ounces 19 and 3/4 inches. My looks(sorry), her eyes. Blonde hair. Mom tried going the whole way without medication, much stronger than I am, lol. At 6cm, she was yelling for that needle in the back. After that it was smooth sailing according to her, lol. Hospital staff nicknamed him Brisket. We had so many people in the room(about 14) while we were waiting for the staff to give us the greenlight to start pushing. They kept saying we were jus having a party, so I told them nobody else could come in unless they brought the brisket. The two nurses we had, "Little Melissa and John were VERY nice and were enjoying the brisket gag. We even put a sign on the door saying "No admittance without BBQ, Corn, 'Slaw, or Sausage." You could hear the other staff members walking by and just laughing. During the labor, Mom was in a great mood(I was waiting for the cursing, but it never happened, didn't feel like official labor, lol). Numerous members of our family kept walking by the room trying to listen and kept texting one of the grandmas to quit laughing and get to work, lol....But we were pushing and laughing at the same time. Very unique and memorable environment. Aaron(one of the God Fathers) actually went out and bought Rudy's BBQ afterwards for all of us AND the hospital Staff. Thanks for letting me share my newest moment and permanent memory! I will post pics up soon!
You'll have a great, great story to tell Brisk-, I mean, Michael. "Michael, you were a Legend before your time. See..."
hahaha, just got back home from the hospital, Mom and son are doing GREAT! Going to grab camera from the car, then upload them to photobucket.....just a couple moments. Waldoonay. Waiting on 4 pistons to arrive. Michael will be spending come time with us in our room in a bassinett(sp?), but the painting has been underway. Thanks for the good wishes folks! I told the wife, she too thanks you. She's not a member on this forum, but visits with my account.
Here are some pics from the event! His hands are so small that we used the little socks to keep him from scratching himself anymore, lol. He kept pulling the gloves off. Here are some of the other photos: http://s92.photobucket.com/albums/l38/chadmandry/Baby/ It was/is a memorable experience. Visitors are welcome, we're just about settled into the new apartment. The guy in the PD uniform is one of the God Fathers, we weren't under arrest, lol. The previous week I was at the hospital in my uniform, man some of the weird looks I got were priceless. Those rooms are too hot for bodyarmor, lol. Image Unavailable, Please Login
WoooooHooooo! Congrats!!! He'll be wrecking the family car before you know it, so make sure to teach him early that the "I had to swerve to avoid a deer" story won't work... trust me.... it doesn't... =-) Shiny Side Up! Bill
Hell, I actually told my Dad that I hit the dang deer, lol. But mine was the truth, lol. But I'll keep that talk in mind for use in 16 years, lol. Yep, lol. His hair is appearing to become a little more blonde. He's also losing that slight conehead he had. Thanks for the well wishes, FChat is a great family to be around. Hopefully will still be here for him to become a member down the road. I'll keep this thread going with pics along the way.....
Yeah, well I never claimed to have not hit the tree... and the fence... I just claimed I did so while missing the deer... and I did SEE a deer... in the road... I just didn't see him until after the accident... 30 minutes after... <sigh> Shiny Side Up! Bill
