Best Christmas wishes first of all, 3 nights back I'm standing at a set of lights with about 10 minutes inside my journey spotting a fair amount of steam out of the bonnet. Quickly switched the 612 off and rolled the bonnet up to find out its one of the coolant hoses. It looked very much like a hose underneath the intake plenum. Bit hard to conceive at a low 29k mileage. With the engine temperature still fairly low I crawled into a tiny street and called a flatbed to ship her home. The next day I took the intake plenum off to check and the famous 180 degree turned pipes seemed to be fine. The problem lies around with the beaded hose on which the larger of the 180 degree turned hoses fits which seems quite corroded with the formation of a hole within the pipe hence the coolant. Please refer to item 47 on the picture. Image Unavailable, Please Login I'm busy arranging the parts. I must admit the condition of my windshield covers is not good at all. Replacement prices makes you wonder if they're made out of gold. Any cheaper alternatives? Thanks and regards to all.
Welcome to the cost of Ferrari ownership. What parts are so expensive that they could be made of gold? What do you mean by windshield covers?
