Tomorrow and next week will be held in the upper parking lot, if it's nice it should be jammed. See you there.

What time does this thing typically get crankin' and what type of crowd does it draw? Hotrods and chromed out/extended swingarm bikes or an even mix, what to expect?
    Thx!

I rolled in about 5:10pm & the lot had maybe 30 cars. A Gallardo, Merci & 360 coup buzzed the lot on their way through the park.
Within the next hour, it filled up with everything from Streed rods to 50's
a 1944 Willy's army jeep, a gorgeous countach, a Pantera, (2) austin Healy 3000 MKIII, a Ford GT, and lots of bikes. Next week is the lot again (seeding the grass field)
and a Buggatti Boat-tail. (aka 1970 volkswagen kit car). *lots* of 60's vettes, camaro's, the Blue "Superbird" used for "Cars" (aka THe King from Dynaco) was there too.
Bob, good to see you there. Jamison's brother showed too.
Only one cop car on the south side when I was going north. No cops on the return trip. But dad was in the car with me so we didn't go over the speed limit. SUVs buzzing a ferrari. in the slow lane...it wasn't a pretty sight :p

I'll skip next week in the lot, but will head back up the week after for the grass field. I expect lots more cars.

I never saw one of these and it is close for me. Of course as a non-member with a 2003 I could not enter but it would be interesting to see.

Is there any "good" parking for visitors? I never like to park my car next to another (and hope the driver/passangers do not ding my door). I am willing to walk if I can park in a secluded or parallel park sort of place. I'm not snooty, but the last cosmetic buff up (convert top scratched the fiberglass cover plus wheel rash) cost me over a grand.

If you want to park on the lawn all you need to do is join their club. The membership fee is $40 for the year. The oldies park on the main field, the newer ones off to the left. Here are a few that I parked next to last year.

OK, I guess they are not likely to ding my lowely door. Can you get membership the same day you arrive or do you have to arrange in advance? Guess I could check out their web page or call them but if you are a member maybe you know.

My hesitation is never having attended, perhaps one look would be all for me.

As Bob mentioned, you can register if you want to park your car on the grass as part of the show. You can think of it as cheap insurance from dings...but not fingerprints if people touch your car while viewing.

The alternative is to bring your beater car, pay $2 & park in the general lot which is frequently busy & full.

I found out last Wed that the $2 fee goes to the state park, and not the club. So that's why they like having us there. Helps maintain the park.
