    Yainch,

    This was on World's Scariest Videos or something... some show I saw on Spike round 4pm a few days ago. Happened in New Mexico and that bear was searching for her cub. Its funny and disturbing at the same moment. I guess we can laugh about it now and it even showed the Ma and son being reunited in the shelter to be later released together. But the best thing about the video is some PMS'ed reporter stomping her feet and yelling at a nearby cop who has a grin ear to ear, " Dont you realize she has a cub?" after the bear was tranqulized and got friend ( the dart was the reason for the fall and hit on lines.) Cop just shrugged and the woman reported left to prance around like she just heard Santa wasn't going to visit in July.

    FYI those photos were taken in Albuquerque, NM in the early 90's when animal contorl officers tranked the bear. I happen to know personally the photographer that shot the images.
