I am in urgent need of a pair of wheel bearings. Does anyone know where I can get 2 rear outer wheel bearings, SKF 62208, ( 75 308) or who may have them in stock? I'd really like to pick them up on my way down to Monterey in the next couple of days. Thanks, Blaine

Any Kaman or Applied Industrial Technologies should be able to have those bearings waiting for you at the nearest location convenient ... . ????? you mentioned Northwest and that includes Portland Oregon but I might be off.

    cheers

edit: they'll have to order them but should only be a day or so for them

I used to buy all my F-car bearings from these folks in Portland --- call them up with your SKF numbers, and they will have something for you...

    http://www.mcguirebearing.com/

While you're at it --- junk the SKF's, and switch to "Timken" --- far better bearings for not much more money. The folks at McGuire can cross reference the part numbers for you.

GT Car Parts in Phoenix always have the best prices, in my experience. I bought SKF bearings for my 77 GTB from them..

Try Carlo at Alfa of Tacoma....(253) 572-2532.

If they don't have them in stock he may be able to get them pretty quick. Right on the way down I-5 too!

Try "Motion Industries" They used to be Brown Bearing Company Inc. 5315 4th Ave S., Seattle 98108 206-762-7070.

I called them to see if they were still in business before posting, so while on the line I asked about that particular bearing. They had it available from some stock in California. He noted that the ones they have are double sealed, although the seals can be removed easily. It may be a different part number 622082RS. They say they don't do cars, but if you have a part number they will look it up.

    Good luck!

    Peter
