Here is a very very elegant Maranello!! Ferrari 550 Maranello - Sammlerstück Interesting what the bottom of the panel and bumper painting does for the overall impression of the car.
Grigio Ingrid is a wonderful colour, which takes on a very different shade depending on the light and surroundings. I have photos of Wayne Coulomb's ex Ingrid Bergman 37MM Coupe (#0456 AM) taken at Pebble Beach and a few months later at the Ferrari 50 event in Modena, using the same camera and the same Fuji film. In the California sun it appears to be bright silver whereas in the Modena light it is a light metallic bronze. I have seen the same effect on a 456M. Splendid but quite a rare colour.
Yes , the coulour coding looks great. I do not remember seeing a silver 575 with the colour coding. Does any one have a photo of one.
I spent a year looking for a Grigio Ingrid 550, it was the only color I would accept. Finally found one, Grigio Ingrid, Sabbia with black piping interior, daytonas, quilted shelf and headliner, shields and the full carbon package. I wish I had some good pictures to share

You need to post some pictures of it!! I can imagine that it was hard to find it. I have not seen more than 2-3 cars in Europe even after 5 years of frequent Maranello searches. Lucky you. Maybe I just change the name of this thread to Grigio Ingrid Ferraris !! Happy new Ferrari Year.

Pic of my rear shelf with black trim panels and belts, It originally came with Sabbia trim panels and belts. I saved the original trim panels and belts for the next owner Second pic is headliner. It looks tan in the pic but it really is Sabbia Finally found a pic of the car. That's my granddaughter standing next to it. Looks silver but that's Grigio Ingrid for you. I'm not sure what I'm missing, but while Grigio Ingrid looks interesting, am I a heathen for saying I prefer Rosso Corsa? or Nero? Or Blu TDF? Or Grigio? What's behind the Ingrid passion? If it's that amazing as a colour why did so few people specify it? I wouldn't swap either of my Maranellos, which are in stock colours, for this.
Not at all, I bought my 355 new and ordered Rosso Corsa, I wouldn't have any other color. People have different tastes and while they may say "that's beautiful" it may not necessarily be something they would want to own. Appreciation is not necessarily envy And just FYI, Grigio Ingrid is a stock color.
Thank you both! I like the romantic beginnings of the color that Enzo created this color for a custom front engine for Ingrid Bergman (although she never took possession of the car) is quite remarkable and even better that the 456M was the official reintroduction of the color. It is a sophisticated finish and changes in all different lights and angles.... Here's link to the supposed history...and pic of the beauty she never drove (sigh!!) http://**********.com/2013/09/a-custom-ferrari-and-the-movie-star.html Image Unavailable, Please Login
Darius- Nearly exactly the same color as my mother's 2000 Buick LeSabre, so that may have something to do with it. Still a pretty color and Grigio Nuvolari is another subtle but attractive color seen on a few Maranellos. Image Unavailable, Please Login
